2257 Augusta

Welcome to the USS Augusta, a Nimitz Class Heavy Destroyer with the Eight Fleet in 2257. Under the command of Captain Katherine Williams. The Augusta was an exploration vessel despite her classification. Starfleet wanted to send a message to the Klingon's that they would not be bullied around, when exploring the universe so the new ships off the line were more state of the art, and able to go one on one with a Klingon vessel.
