| Physical Description | Loval is tall and broad shouldered. His torso is a V shape of solid muscle. His years at the Tal Shiar have made him well practiced in keeping his feelings at bay and his face expressionless. Standing at 6'7"" with a solid athletic build, close cropped black hair, shaved at the sides and back with dark black eyes. His eyes add to his intimidating presence and the mystery of his thought. His forehead sports a solid V shaped ridge that extends into the hairline. Ears are pointed, but not overly extended in height. |

| Personal History | Loval (Low-vayl) was born in the city of Dartha on Romulus, 3rd of four children, and the only male. Loval sought to distinguish himself from the rest of his siblings through academic pursuits, and service to the Empire. His Mother served in the Romulan Star Navy aboard the fleet construction yards above Remus and his Father served as a Pro-Consel within the Romulan Senate and member of the Judiciary of Dartha while raising their family. His sisters followed their own academic pursuits and careers but the family house remained strong in Dartha and upheld an honorable standing. Loval was commissioned as an Equitoriam (2nd Lt) in the Romulan Star Navy as a security officer upon his graduation from the Military Rhetor where he majored in linguistics, and counter espionage. He started his career as an officer aboard the science vessel Rh'kor and eventually transferred into the Naval Intelligence division as an Operative. He transferred to the Vadore as the Warbird's Chief Intelligence and Weapon's Officer. [REDACTED] He served Naval Intelligence with distinction for ten years and was selected for special assignment to the Praetorian Guard and was the Preator's personal operative. At the age of 35 he was transferred officially into the Tal Shiar, the elite and feared intelligence wing of the Romulan Navy. All of Lovall's missions with the Tal Shiar are classified and require clearance from the Empire to learn of. Loval suffered a severe depression and dark outlook towards the path of the empire as his family perished during the destruction of the Hobus star. The aftermath of this event would spell doom for the Empire, nearly destroying all that he loved, served and worked for in a fortnight. In the weeks following, Loval began using his connections in the Intelligence networks to search for any survivors of his family, eventually, a few months later, finding his niece. She had managed to flee off-world with a transport flotilla and was currently living as a refugee on a Federation world. This was the hope he had been looking for. For his part Loval survived the Hobus explosion while on mission. He will use his connections to bring his niece home when the time was right. Home to New Romulus where he and others began to forge the new Empire. [REDACTED] Loval was promoted to Colonel in the aftermath of Hobus and given the title of Director of the Tal Shiar. He began to weave his web of spiders and informants. Within five years of taking over the Tal Shiar he had it back to running at full operational capacity. Now eight years after taking charge of the Tal Shiar an Ambassadorship opened up. Loval leaped at the chance to take this position and learn how the other side, the enemy lived. He gave up his rank and position in the Tal Shiar. Or so he has told others... |
