This award is chosen by the commanding officer of the sim. The recipient must have demonstrated character growth and development, and can not be the same nomination for character of the month. This award is given at the end of a mission.

Nicole Eagle is another great example of a writer who could have easily won support or character of the month, but you can only choose one so it's with great honor that as the commanding off for this Sim that I choose my cool Eagle for the CO award of Merit. |

January 2023: Claire was seriously considered for "Support Character of the Month," however the award was given to another character. However, with that said, I am happy to award her character the CO's Merit Award. Claire has been a pivotal character to start the relaunch of this sim. |
