| Personal History | Elani of Elas grew up in a diplomatic family. As she grew, Elani had rebelled against her family’s diplomatic nature, believing it was against their nature as Elasians. Elani’s mother (Ambassador Veda) is the great granddaughter of Jasi, the first cousin of the then Dohlman of Elas. The family was royalty at one time. Now, Elas is a republic, no royalty. The Elasian are more diplomatic and passive compared to their ancestors of 150 years ago. Elani’s (Named for Elaan) desire was to get back to the roots of her people. At a sixteen, Elani stowed away on a Federation ship. She caught the eye of an Intelligence Officer, who took Elani under his wing, training her. At his recommendation, she was accepted by Section 31, under his command. His name is Kendrick Alers. He still oversees her missions, although Elani is not directly in his command any longer. She sees him, not only as a mentor, but as a father figure. At the current time, Elani is undercover as a smuggler. She uses this cover to get her into the Mari culture. Some Mari wanting to feel negative thoughts have used her shuttle to escape the planet. |
