Personal History Early Year's

In 2401, Clara Langford found herself standing at a crossroads, her life forever altered by tragedy. At just 14 years old, she experienced the devastating loss of her parents and older brother, who were serving in Starfleet. They were tragically killed during Frontier Day, leaving Clara feeling as if her world had been shattered.

Determined to honor her fallen family members, Clara made a life-altering decision. She resolved to join Starfleet, just like her parents and brother, and carry on their legacy. As an American, she set her sights on attending Starfleet Academy, where she would receive the training necessary to fulfill her dream.

Throughout her journey, Clara held onto a unique fascination with bagels. The everything bagel, with its multitude of flavors and textures, was her absolute favorite. In fact, she loved bagels so much that she had a tattoo of one on her upper back. Inside the bagel tattoo, three hearts were delicately inked to represent her parents and brother, a constant reminder of their presence and influence in her life.

Raised by her grandparents after the tragic loss, Clara leaned on their support, even as they grappled with their own grief. They initially opposed her decision to join Starfleet, fearing for her safety and the potential for further heartache. However, when they realized they couldn't dissuade her from her chosen path, they called upon an old family friend to sponsor her entry into Starfleet Academy. With their blessing and newfound support, Clara embarked on her journey toward a future she believed would honor her family's memory.

Having recently graduated from high school, Clara looked back fondly on her favorite subjects: drama and music. Her drama teacher, Mrs. Cook, had been a guiding light during her darkest days, providing solace and encouragement. However, not all of her teachers left a positive impression. Mr. Miller, with his peculiar interests and a tendency to resemble a tomato, irked Clara to no end.

In matters of the heart, Clara's most recent romance had been with a legal secretary named Ralphie Oskar Jenkins. Unfortunately, their relationship ended due to Ralphie's inability to comprehend Clara's unwavering determination to join Starfleet. He felt like a mere placeholder in her life, overshadowed by her ambition to achieve something greater.

Amidst the highs and lows, Clara found solace in her best friend, Lizzie Alexander. The two were inseparable, sharing their dreams and fears, and providing unwavering support for one another. Clara also found companionship in the company of Annalise Wilson and Brendon Hunt, who formed a tight-knit group of friends that navigated life's challenges together.

As Clara embarked on her journey at Starfleet Academy, she carried the weight of her past and the hope for a brighter future. With her parents and brother forever etched in her heart, she was determined to make them proud, believing that through her service in Starfleet, she would find purpose, adventure, and ultimately, a way to heal the wounds of the past.
