| General Overview | General Overview: Noah Michael Larsen is a 24-year-old helmsman on the USS Dragonstar an Akira Class starship assigned to the 1st Tactical Wing. Noah who enjoys spending time with the elderly and listening to their stories. Social card games and running. He is generous and entertaining, but can also be very standoffish and a bit arrogrant. Noah is outspoken and takes great pride in his appearance. He loves the life of party. His lifestyle is part of the reason why he choose to become a pilot in the first place. Noah prides himself on being able to try anything once. He hates pickles and is allergic to mushrooms. |

| Personal History | The Early Years Noah Larsen was born on November 15, 2381. He was raised in an Irish Christian home with his father and his grandparents. His mother Inya divorced his father in 2385 after his grandmother on his mother's side of the family died during the attack on Mars. His father use to work in the same building where they were building synthetic androids at Daystrom Institute. His mother blamed her father for the death of her mother. Growing up in Starfleet was a mixed feeling. Both parents loved him. His mother was holding a bitter grudge against her father. Noah did not think it was fair to blame him. He was a sanitation engineer on the station. Deep down no Noah wondered if she truly left because of the fact that he worked in sanitation. Despite his mother's affection for him, deep down he wondered if she would blame him at some point like she linked his father for something that he had no control over. In a small way it left a rift between them that can never be solved. Throughout his young age he remained single. Noah had a hard time trusting in women because of his mother. Even though she had treated him fairly he saw the way that she treated his father. Deep down he feared that any potential partner could treat him the same way. How could he trust the potential partner when he could even trust his own mother? Noah wanted to get away from his family, and find out who he was without them. Because at the time he felt betrayed by his mother, and he's slightly resented his father for never trying to win her back or dating again. His father wasn't perfect by any means, he never really mounted to much. The one thing he can say about his father was that he was a caring and compassionate person. But his father kept people at arm's length to include his own children. Starfleet Academy: Betazed In 2399 Noah arrived on Betazed to begin his starfleet training to become an officer. Noah excelled at being a pilot, he had a lot of natural talent and he always was pushing his fighter to the limits. Despite not actually flying, he spent a lot of times in the simulator preparing for this day when he was a teenager, so even though he had never actually flown a fighter in real life he had a lot of practice in the holodeck. Noah wanted to prove he was the best. He wanted to prove he was not worthless like his father. He was not going to be a sanitation engineer. He was going to command a starship someday. It's first goal was to earn the Commander Air Group position. He knew it was very hard to get promoted to CAG. Most pilots gave up and switching to flight control operations never get me into their own starships. But he was bound to become the CAG, and then eventually captain in command of his own ship. This was his basic plan when he was at the Academy. Noah had fell for Gladys Niamh Alvarez, who was the same age as him. He was a pilot and very competitive, get a very fiery personality. He found that to be very sexy, you're one quirk was she didn't really understand his jokes it wouldn't laugh at anything he said even though other people thought he was hilarious. The attraction at first quickly faded when he noticed that cared more about flying than she did about him; there were several nights where she would just blow him off to get another chance to go out on a flight even though they had established plans. At some point he was a little jealous thinking that maybe she was pulling around, because she was always hanging out with the boys and not just him. Bl Noah was very insecure, and this led rift into the relationship. His instructor suggested to him that he should seek some therapy during his junior year at the academy. Noah did not want to go that there would be, but he wanted to complete the academy so he felt reluctant and forced to go into therapy. About 3 months into his sessions he decided to break it off with Gladys siding the reason he was ending up with her is because she wasn't laughing at his jokes but deep down it was because he truly was insecure about his own feelings and felt like he wasn't being fair to her or himself. Noah really focused on his career during his senior year. He chose not to date again until he got into the fleet. Noah still had his other guy friends but his best friend was a gym assistant named Rory O'Ryan. We know it wasn't flying call me he left his spend some time in the gym he was obsessed with trying to have a perfect body. But his good friend Rory suggested to him that he needs to refocus his life. Noah graduated from the academy in 2403 and was assigned star base 231 as a pilot. Noah wanted to make sure that he was far away from Gladys as possible. He wasn't upset at her, but he considered their relationship to be the greatest failure of his life. He did not want that constant reminder lurking over him. Starbase 231 Noah was assigned to the 12th Attack Wing Squadron, they were more commonly referred as the Screaming Falcon's Squadron. She spent the next two years on the station but not really seeing much combat, so he started to look at alternative assignments because he felt like he wasn't getting any closer to his goal of becoming a CAG. Noah started as a TSO and second theater on a fighter, after 6 months of good service he was finally given command of his own fighter and was assigned to his own TSO. No I wish you would have been a pilot from the beginning of his active career but he knew that everyone had to go through so I can see if they were going to fly their own ship. Unlike the academy where he blew all the time so they seemed kind of redundant and assnine he thought. Noah excelled as a pilot, and he got several high recommendations and honors but he never saw any real fight time. Being on the station he felt more grounded than ever, and then he heard that pilots on starships got more flight time. In some ways he felt like his time grounded on the station was preparing him for eventual rise to the position of Commander Air Group. However at the moment he was nowhere near that goal so he wanted to fly. After completing his 2-year obligation he put in for a request and started looking at promotions to asquadron commander. Noah didn't realize it at the time, but the two years just flew by and he really didn't go on any dates; he spent most of his time just partying it up with his fellow pilots. There were occasional dates but nothing too serious. Noah was not really looking to be tied down. The USS Dragon Star had an opening for a squadron commander position and he applied for it, Squadron Commander position. Lieutenant Commander Gina McClain accepted his request and he transferred in 2405. |
