| Physical Description | Elsie is a slender woman, who recently started to go to the gym to stay in shape, a lot of people tell her she is very skinny and fit, but she knows the older she gets the more her metabolism will slow down. Image means everything to her. She has short brown hair with green eyes, she is light skinned with no scars, no freckles or visible birthmarks. Her only complaint, is her butt is to flat, but on the same note she is happy it is, because its a good sign, she is not putting on weight. However she does desire to put on a few pounds to have the curves in the right places. |

| General Overview | Elsie has an energetic and bubbly personality, she was a free minded and spirited person, who recently had a brush with death that changed her life. She started to prioritize her life. She was raised in Starfleet. Her life first started on the USS Nightshade. She started her career as a diplomatic officer, earning the diplomatic rank of Envoy before deciding to focus more on a Starfleet career. She asked to be placed in a deep space vessel. She was assigned to the USS Sirona. She had spent the first four years of her career on Vulcan, meeting a lot of races. She felt her life was becoming a little stagnate. She still loved the idea of meeting new races, she felt that she could best accomplish this on a starfleet vessel. In 2388 Elsie was assigned to the USS Sirona and promoted to Chief Diplomatic Officer. A role she took very seriously, and on their second mission with the Sirona, she was promoted to Acting First Officer after extraordinary events transpired on the USS Kubo. | Strengths & Weaknesses | Strength: Elsie has always been called a strong willed woman with a loving heart. Recently the USS Sirona's, responded to mayday call that caused Elsie and the rest of the away team to be infected by a virus, that was de-aging anyone affected by the virus. Elsie showed great strength and leadership, when learned they were infected. She managed to keep her composure after her first officer was in a comma and the death of another crew member. She is able to speak her mind and get others to listen to her ideas, she is great at multi-tasking while deescalating hostile situations. She gets both sides to compromise and meet in the middle. Her skills came in handy on the second mission, when the away team was devastated by the news of their first officer being in a comma and their crew mate date. She managed to de escalate an emotionally compromised crew, and hold them together in order to find a cure to save them all. Elsie is a great listener, and is she to reflect a calm presence, and adapt to almost any situation, thanks to her training on Vulcan. Out of the academy her first assignment was on Vulcan, where she learned patience, and the virtues of common sense. Her strong willed nature allows her to hold her position in negotiations, like any good diplomat, she knows how to read the body impressions, and the selective choice of words people tend to use, when trying to negotiate, she has an incredible memory and focus on the minor things, she has a real knack for attention to detail. Weakness: She loves to talk, sometimes a little much, not typically about herself, just the work she is into with her fellow crew members. One of her main focuses is to get people to open up, so she get them to talk, first about minor things, then flip the switch on them. Typically afterword’s she feels like she has to keep the facade up and continues to talk to personal, not because she likes them, but out of a sense of duty. A trait she learned while on Vulcan, a trait, she hopes she can unlearn. After being trapped on the USS Kubo with a life threatening virus, she has slightly changed her perspective on children, she use feel completely uncomfortable around kids. The idea of having kids was a little scary to her, in her early 20's but with 30 knocking around around the corner, she is learning to overcome her insecurities around children. She has a natural fear of heights, even in a holodeck, she does not like the idea of being in high places, she does okay on a starship or a small craft, but not like to sit by windows, where she can see the ground coming up on her. Elsie's self confidence was a little shaken, she has started to see Lieutenant Emri Dane the new counselor of the USS Sirona. She is still recovering after the near death, and the severe injury of Lieutenant Commander Alom Ehal. And the death of Lieutenant Reggie Hawthorne. She wondered why Lieutenant Phaedra, Ensign Cassidy Westphall and herself survived the incident. To make matters worse, the captain promoted her to Acting First Officer, so she wants to do a good job in her new role. She knew the Captain offered her the position because he believed in her, and she wanted to do right about him. She took the role very seriously. And worked hard to be a good role model for the crew. |

| Ambitions | ----------------------------------------- When Elsie boarded the USS Sirona her only goal was to meet as many new races as she could, to and charter them into the Federation. This goal seemed a little unattainable. Her first goal was way to easy to achieve. She wanted to become a Diplomatic Officer, and now that she has reached that goal, she feels like she needs more of a challenge. She recently discovered she likes the idea of being in command. Elsie knows she is still young, but she has considered taking the first officer exam, but she is not sure if she ready and even if she fails, she knows she still has time to achieve this goal. Her brother Eric at the age of 33 is the first officer of the USS Santiago, a little part of her wants to try to become a first officer by her 30th birthday. In order to achieve this goal she asked Captain Batai Dhej, if she could take the first officer exam. After completition of the second mission. Elsie was promoted to Acting First Officer of the USS Sirona by Captain Dhej, she was placed on a trail basis. She took the role very seriously and studied hard. She took and completed the first officer exam and the bridge officer test in the holodeck. ---------------------------------------- |

| Hobbies & Interests | Elsie does not want to be competitive with her hobbies and interests, because she finds her work in the diplomatic field to be a very competitive, almost like cutthroat game. She enjoys playing sports for fun. Typically she does not keep score, and does not play with others that do, a lot of the time she will play with holographic characters and programs them not to be competitive. Elsie loves to play racquetball, volleyball, soccer, chess, and most 21st century board games with her favorite being “Sorry” the board game. She is not very competitive, she loves to play the game, and learn from the game. She is more interested in learning all she can about the game. Elsie loves to go camping and pitching up a tent as long as she has basic essentials, sleeping padd, tent, and other tools to enjoy her experience. She has not gone camping in eight years and really regrets the missed opportunities from it. She is hoping to talk to Captain Batai Dhej, about the next planet that is uninhabited, and they have some down time, if she can pitch a tent and camp. |
| Personal History | Elsie grew up with two older brothers, a mother and a father. She was born on August 3rd, 2367. She along with her siblings were from the planet Earth but spent the next 5 years of her life on Tera Nova, a human colony that is part of the Federation. Her parents were from Tera Nova, and decided to move back home after retiring from Starfleet. Initially she was born on the USS Nightshade in 2360. At the time Susan was the Chief Diplomatic Officer. And her father was the Executive Officer. Elsie was mainly raised by her mother on Andor, a very cold and ice planet from 2370 through 2383. When she was 16 she requested to live with her father on the USS Nightshade, from 2383-2385. After 45 years of service, her parents retired from Starfleet. They settled on Tera Nova. Elsie's two younger joined their parents on Tera Nova. In 2385 just after graduating high school Elsie joined Starfleet Academy on Bajor. She wanted to get off on the right foot. And establish her own career. Elsie was never really close Eric. Mainly because she treated them like a babies. She thought it best not to keep in contact with them. Growing up she felt that she had to be on her best behavior if she wanted her siblings and parents attention. She felt that the boys took part of her childhood away from her. It was not till she was 16 years old, did she really find herself. In 2390 Elsie was able to establish her own way, she discovered she loved meeting new races like her mother, but did not want to live on an ice planet. She preferred to live on a starship or a nice warm planet. Elsie is only 38 years old. She went to Starfleet Academy at the age of 18 in 2390, she graduated at the age of 22 in 2390, where she spent the next two years on Vulcan as Diplomat's Aid. She worked her way to Diplomatic Envoy, before being promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade in 2393. She served at Starbase 321 as a Diplomatic Officer under Lieutenant Commander Ferra, a well versed Caiitian in Starfleet Diplomacy. She learned a lot from Ferra and was able to work her way up to Assistant Chief Diplomatic Officer. She had spent most of 2393 learning what it will take to be a Chief Diplomatic Officer. Elsie was offered the role as Chief Diplomatic Officer of the USS Sirona in 2398. She accepted the offer and had to say goodbye to her mentor and her friend Ferra. Elsie quickly made friends with the Assistant Chief Medical Officer on the USS Sirona, part of her was trying to fill a void with accepting the transfer. Relationship with Phaedra Elsie instantly started a friendship with Phaedra, the two of them work closely together during the incident on the USS Kubo. This incident sparked a friendship that Elsie needed. At first she felt a lone and isolated and extremely confused. One minute she is was on her way to the USS Sirona and the next she was waking up on a strange alien facility, with her new Captain and crew asking if she was okay. Not feeling well, and being completely confused she reached out to sickbay, and Phaedra helped her transition and explained what had happen. The two were later selected to investigate the USS Kubo, and discovered they were infected by some sort of bio weapon that was reverting there cells. With the help of the USS Sirona’s Chief Medical Officer and Phaedra, they found a cure in time. Relationship with Byron Coleman In 2394, Byron and Elsie had a small romantic fling aboard the USS Midway. She was on assignment as a Diplomatic Officer, until her appointment to Vulcan was approved. Both officers mutually agreed to end the relationship for their perspective careers. Elsie was also promoted to First officer of the USS Sirona wow Byron was also assigned to the sirona they decided to revive their relationship in 2398. It was a hard decision for Elsie, she did not want to leave. But she felt that she would have regretted the decision of not going to Vulcan to stay with him. They were both young and clearly did not have their priorities in the relationship. Byron was a good distraction for Elsie, at the time. After her near death experience and Byron being placed on assignment to the USS Sirona, started to wonder if she made a mistake ending the relationship. Neither of them knew the other was on the vessel, and with her promotion to acting first officer, she felt that it was not right to explore a relationship. She could not afford the distraction at the moment. 2400 Elsie and Bryon married on the USS Sirona, in a big over the top wedding. Elise was very happy to be marrying her soulmate. They two immediately started trying to have a baby, and after a year she was finally pregnant. 2402, Elsie and Byron brought into the world, a daughter, she was named Amber Raye Coleman. They two were ecstatic with joy. a short time after giving birth to Amber, Elsie learns she is pregnant again. (Both daughters have the same name) 2403, Elsie and Bryon now had a second daughter, her name was Mila Rose Coleman. After there second child, they decided 2 kids was enough for their happy family. The kids early childhood, was being raised on the USS Sirona. 2394 As the children grew older, Elsie and Byron started to think, that needed a more stabile living accommodations than the USS Sirona. The medical ship, seen to much, and Elsie was concerned about long term exposure in harsh environments, was not a good thing for the kids. She started to apply for commands, but she wanted to be assigned to a station, with an attached support vessel. She wanted the kids to be raised on the station, and when needed her parents could go out on deployment. Stations were safer than life on a medial rapid response vessel, that had seen so much chaos. Elsie felt like they went from one chaotic event to the next. She was offered a few assignments, but Bryon was another matter. He was only a second officer on the USS Sirona. They did offer him some command opportunities, but not at the same port. Eventually in 2405 an opportunity had arise, that allowed the two of them to be stationed at Valahalla Fleet Yards. 2404 They continued to serve on the USS Sirona until 2404, when both Elsie and Byron both accepted a command offers at Valahalla Fleet Yards. Elsie was given command of the USS Paladin, and Bryron was given command of the USS Hornet. Captain Dhej's retired from Starfleet shortly after Elsie left the Sirona. This one I needed a much overhaul so in early 2404 the ship was pulled into driydock. Elsie feels guilty that most of her time is XO she feel like she was pregnant more than she actually felt like she was first officer, but she managed to do both pretty well or at least Captain Dhej's reminded her on a regular basis. Byron and Elsie joined Starfleet Command Academy on Planet Rosa. After completing the command School they were both given new commands. Elsie wanted Commander the Sirona but it was given to another officer. |
